Model 02 : "RUNNER"

The marathon as we know it today was born with the birth of the modern Olympic Games in 1896. However, running was not common for a long time until the 1970s, when new materials with excellent shock absorption properties were developed and used in shoes. The book "The Complete Book of Running", which was published in 1977 and became a huge hit, spreading the running boom not only in the United States, where it was published, but also around the world. The combination of reinforcing tape on the toe and sides is a hall of fame design that has long been used as a standard for shoes for running, such as running shoes and track shoes. The side lines (such as Adidas' three stripes and Asics' Mexico line), which are now recognized as part of the design for brand expression, are originally derived from tapes sewn onto the upper to reinforce areas that are subject to high loads.

Model 02: "RUNNER" is based on the design of this old running shoe, but by adopting a seamless back and assembling it with advanced designs used in dress shoes, it has become a pair of shoes that has never been seen before.
